Why AGE GAP IS THE BIGGEST ISSUE ?

Ready for marriage, but stepping back because of the age gap?

Everyone desires for a spouse who is of their age, Age gap matters in today’s generation.

In today’s blog, we will be discussing the biggest issue “age factor.”

If you are truly interested in marriage you will not be worried about the age. Rather than looking for an age in-person look for their character and behavior. Height, weight, age doesn’t matter; a good heart and kind soul are enough for a happy marriage.

There are many benefits when your partner is elder to you because a spouse who is elder to you in age will probably be more matured, caring, understandable, and not silly. There is a possibility of having fewer misunderstandings between you and your spouse than a person of the same age.

The first wife of Prophet (S.A.W.S) Khadija (R.A) was15 years elder than him, yet she was the most caring, loving, and respectful towards him. She never hurted the prophet (S.A.W.S) and accepted him at that point when everyone rejected him. These were qualities of Khadija (R.A) that made Prophet (S.A.W.S) remember her even after her death. Khadija (R.A) was Prophet (S.A.W.S)’s first love, he married many later, but no one could replace her. Khadija (R.A) and Prophet (S.A.W.S) together made the best couple in Islam and gave a meaning of true love. Age never mattered them what mattered them most was each other’s support, love, respect, comfort, understanding, and caring.

When talking about Aisha (R.A) she was one of the most youngest and knowledgeable of his wives.

She was one of the dearests of all people to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and news of her innocence was revealed from above the seven heavens.

Despite her age, the senior companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to refer to her opinion and consult her.

The characteristics of intelligence and smartness that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had noticed in Aishah even as a small child, so he wanted to marry her so that she would be more able than others to transmit reports of what he did and said. As stated above, she was a reference point for the Sahaabah (may Allah be pleased with them) concerning their affairs and rulings.

So when you look for a spouse look for their characteristics rather than looking for their age.
